Welcome to The Petersfield Town Partnership
Petersfield Town Partnership
The Petersfield Town Partnership (Petersfield Tomorrow) was launched at a public meeting on Monday 30th October 2006. The formation of the Partnership is necessary to achieve external funding for the Projects identified as a result of the public consultation. The work of the Partnership can be accessed using the links in the sidebar of this page.
Our Vision
" By 2015, Petersfield will be the western hub for the South Downs National Park: where people of all ages want to live, work and visit; that respects its character and heritage; manages and maintains its public facilities and infrastructure to a high standard and ensures that all its residents have access to its services and amenities."

Support for Lavant Street
Petersfield Tomorrow's application for funding from SEEDA to support Lavant Street was successful and with matched funding from EHDC, HCC a project has been initiated that includes signage at access from Bakery Lane and Hobbs Alley, , 1:1 retail support to individual businesses, footway repairs and an additional Map Board (in the Swan Street Car Park). Contracts have been placed for the projects and some will be implemented before the end of January 2012. The repairs to the footways on both sides of the Street are nearing completion. We are expecting to complete the signage shortly to coincide with cleaning and painting of the existing situation.
Community Garden
The Community Garden now has been achieved (April 2012) and the project team deserve great credit for their considerable efforts. A press release is anticipated soon.
Town Health Check
We have been awarded funding from the EHDC Community Projects Fund to revisit two sections of the Town Healthcheck - S5: Sports, Leisure and Open Space; S6: Culture and Heritage . Work is about to start. If you wish to support us please make contact.
